Partnering Library Collections through Libby

The libraries listed below are partnered to share certain digital resources. This means that all patrons will have additional digital resources available to them. Instructions for accessing these resources can be found below

The instructions below work the same way for all the library collections listed above. Instead of searching for Lakeland or Midwest Collaborative, you will search for the partner collection of your choice and follow the remaining steps. We will mention the menu icon often in these instructions. The icon can be found at the center of the bottom menu. This is the menu icon you will be looking for:

Signing up with other libraries:

 1. Click on the menu icon in the center of the bottom menu.

2. Click on "Add a Library"

​3. Type in Midwest Collaborative into search bar. Then click on Midwest Collaborative for Library Services. You will be taken to MCLS's homepage. You'll notice a menu on the homepage:

4. Click "I'm Visiting from Another Library". Click on "Lakeland Library Cooperative".

6. Enter your library card number and PIN and click "Sign In".

Hint: Your PIN is four numbers you chose that you would remember. If you don't remember, try the last four digits of your phone number or call us and we can reset it.

MI-83 Collection

We are excited to announce the MI-83 Digital Library Connection project has added 1,466 ebooks and 532 audiobooks to Libby!


The new titles cover topics including addiction, mental health, money management, homeschooling, clean eating & cooking, grief, and some fiction titles. You can view full the collection in the Libby app.


The MI-83 Digital Library Connection project is funded by an ARPA grant, provided in part by the Institute of Museum and Library Services through the Library of Michigan, an agency of the Michigan Department of Education.

New titles on Libby: 1466 ebooks & 532 audiobooks covering topics like addiction, mental health, money management, and more.
